Rainbow Association of the Deaf (RAD) is a national nonprofit organization serving Deaf LGBTQ+ individuals. The goal of this project was to redesign the website so it felt welcoming, inclusive, and easy to use, while making information more accessible for both new visitors and returning community members.
The existing site needed better structure, clearer navigation, and improved mobile usability. The redesign focused on creating a strong sense of belonging while keeping the experience simple and intuitive.
Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf website was created to reflect a vibrant, inclusive community where connection and visibility matter. The goal was to make events easy to explore, resources easy to access, and the overall experience welcoming across all devices.
This project centered on clarity, accessibility, and celebration. Many members engage on mobile, so the site was built to function seamlessly whether viewed on a phone, tablet, or desktop. The structure highlights upcoming events, community initiatives, and ways to get involved without overwhelming visitors.
The result is a people-first website that supports growth, strengthens community engagement, and reflects the spirit of RAD.
